The first of a hat trick of hockey jersey shadow boxes... My customer brought me two autographed hockey jerseys to be framed as gifts for her husband - one for Christmas and one to be done in the new year. The Sidney Crosby hockey jersey (Pittsburgh Penguins) was the first one framed and Nathan MacKinnon’s Halifax Mooseheads hockey jersey was next. Her husband was so pleased with his gifts that a third autographed hockey jersey, John Taveres from New York Islanders, was dropped off to be framed when the second jersey shadow box was picked up.
My customer wanted all the frames to match, so a classic black shadow box moulding from Larson-Juhl’s Confetti line was paired with conservation mats from Peterboro Matboard. Tru Vue’s Museum glass was chosen for its 99% UV protection and amazing clarity.
