This customer wanted to frame the Memorial Cross (also referred to as the Silver Cross) that he received in memory of his father's military service. Also included in the shadow box was the information card that came with the medal and a photo of his father.

A photo of the engraving on the back of the medal as well as a scan of the front and back of his father's certificate of service card were placed in an envelope on the back of the frame.

Tru Vue's Museum glass was chosen for its outstanding anti-reflective coating and 99% UV protection. A simple black flat frame with silver accent lines and a black suede mat finish off the design.

The father's photo was extracted from a group photo and with some photo restoration, colour adjustment, and enlargement, I was able to get a nice head shot to use in the shadow box.
