Jon Sim Hockey Jersey Shadow Box
An autographed Jon Sim hockey jersey (New York Islanders) was framed in this shadow box. A narrow, orange, Larson-Juhl frame is stacked within the Roma Moulding shadow box frame and holds the glass in place. The orange frame accentuates the orange colour in the jersey. The jersey was mounted using a combination of a 4 ply artcare matboard form insert (to help hold its shape) and hand-sewing. Tru Vue Museum glass was chosen for its high UV protection as well as its anti-reflective properties, making it appear almost invisible.
